Really nice design for a blog. I did not know were else to respond to your questions. So I will elaborate here. I went to the Yahoo question. I cannot speak for all of Christiandom, since I do not agree with much of the traditional tenements of the major denominations in Christianity. But I have reconcile much of those questions you have according to my understanding and not the explanations of the major Christian denominations. The original bible is pretty much based on what someone else said: The Dead Sea Scrolls. Jesus, actually makes a direct quote, not found in the traditional Old Testament, but it is found in the Old Testament found in the the DSCs and the New Testament. True Jesus does not really say he is God, and most Christians denominations believe that he is God, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, but guess what? Believing in the Trinity is not a requirement to be saved. So it does not matter. If he is God, or not God, or if he is the Son or the Holy Spirit. What matters is that we believe he is the Savior who came to redeem our sins, because no matter what we do as humans, no amount of work or piety will ever wash our sins clean. Never. Christians don't believe (at least most of us, don't) in other prophets other than Jesus because when he died on the cross he said: it is finished, also he said that the next time he came he would come in the end times. The Quran may acknowledge the Bible, but it does not recognize it as being authoritative. C.S. Lewis said about Christianity: "Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important." There cannot be any middle ground. Either it's message is all false or all true, but it cannot be in the middle. I believe that Jesus' message is perfect and the difference in languages does not alter his message at the very least, not an iota.

Incidentally, I could not help notice that this blog of yours is based on mysticism. Mysticism, whether it is Christian, Jewish, Hindu, or Muslim in origin scares me to death!! Why? I feel it can open the portal to many "bad spirits" we cannot control or know if they are truly good or bad. I don't need mysticism or the belief in the supernatural, whether there are jinns or angels to solidify my belief in God. But that is just my opinion. Ok. Thanks.
