Al-Mutaffifin
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe to Al-Mutaffifun (those who give less in measure and weight). (1) Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, demand full measure, (2) And when they have to give by measure or weight to (other) men, give less than due. (3) Do they not think that they will be resurrected (for reckoning), (4) On a Great Day, (5) The Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the ‘Alamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists)? (6) Nay! Truly, the Record (writing of the deeds) of the Fujjâr (disbelievers, polytheists sinners, evil-doers and wicked) is (preserved) in Sijjîn. (7) And what will make you know what Sijjîn is? (8) A Register inscribed. (9) Woe, that Day, to those who deny. (10) Those who deny the Day of Recompense. (11) And none can deny it except every transgressor beyond bounds, (in disbelief, oppression and disobedience to Allâh), the sinner! (12) When Our Verses (of the Qur’ân) are recited to him he says: “Tales of the ancients!” (13) Nay! But on their hearts is the Rân (covering of sins and evil deeds) which they used to earn[] (14) Nay! Surely, they (evil-doers) will be veiled from seeing their Lord that Day. (15) Then, verily they will indeed enter (and taste) the burning flame of Hell. (16) Then, it will be said to them: “This is what you used to deny!” (17) Nay! Verily, the Record (writing of the deeds) of Al-Abrâr (the pious and righteous), is (preserved) in ‘Illiyyûn. (18) And what will make you know what ‘Illiyyûn is? (19) A Register inscribed. (20) To which bear witness those nearest (to Allâh, i.e. the angels). (21) Verily, Al-Abrâr (the pious who fear Allâh and avoid evil) will be in Delight (Paradise). (22) On thrones, looking (at all things). (23) You will recognise in their faces the brightness of delight. (24) They will be given to drink of pure sealed wine. (25) The last thereof (that wine) will be the smell of Musk, and for this let (all) those strive who want to strive (i.e. hasten earnestly to the obedience of Allâh). (26) It (that wine) will be mixed with Tasnîm. (27) A spring whereof drink those nearest to Allâh. (28) Verily, (during the worldly life) those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. (29) And whenever they passed by them, used to wink one to another (in mockery); (30) And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; (31) And when they saw them, they said: “Verily, these have indeed gone astray!” (32) But they (disbelievers, sinners) had not been sent as watchers over them (the believers). (33) But this Day (the Day of Resurrection) those who believe will laugh at the disbelievers[] (34) On (high) thrones, looking (at all things). (35) Are not the disbelievers paid (fully) for what they used to do? (36)
سورة المطفّفِین
شروع الله کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے
شروع الله کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے
ناپ اور تول میں کمی کرنے والوں کے لیے خرابی ہے (۱) جو لوگوں سے ناپ کر لیں تو پورا لیں (۲) اور جب ان کو ناپ کر یا تول کر دیں تو کم کر دیں (۳) کیا یہ لوگ نہیں جانتے کہ اٹھائے بھی جائیں گے (۴) (یعنی) ایک بڑے (سخت) دن میں (۵) جس دن (تمام) لوگ رب العالمین کے سامنے کھڑے ہوں گے (۶) سن رکھو کہ بدکارروں کے اعمال سجّین میں ہیں (۷) اور تم کیا جانتے ہوں کہ سجّین کیا چیز ہے؟ (۸) ایک دفتر ہے لکھا ہوا (۹) اس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی خرابی ہے (۱۰) (یعنی) جو انصاف کے دن کو جھٹلاتے ہیں (۱۱) اور اس کو جھٹلاتا وہی ہے جو حد سے نکل جانے والا گنہگار ہے (۱۲) جب اس کو ہماری آیتیں سنائی جاتی ہیں تو کہتا ہے کہ یہ تو اگلے لوگوں کے افسانے ہیں (۱۳) دیکھو یہ جو (اعمال بد) کرتے ہیں ان کا ان کے دلوں پر زنگ بیٹھ گیا ہے (۱۴) بےشک یہ لوگ اس روز اپنے پروردگار (کے دیدار) سے اوٹ میں ہوں گے (۱۵) پھر دوزخ میں جا داخل ہوں گے (۱۶) پھر ان سے کہا جائے گا کہ یہ وہی چیز ہے جس کو تم جھٹلاتے تھے (۱۷) (یہ بھی) سن رکھو کہ نیکوکاروں کے اعمال علیین میں ہیں (۱۸) اور تم کو کیا معلوم کہ علیین کیا چیز ہے؟ (۱۹) ایک دفتر ہے لکھا ہوا (۲۰) جس کے پاس مقرب حاضر رہتے ہیں (۲۱) بےشک نیک لوگ چین میں ہوں گے (۲۲) تختوں پر بیٹھے ہوئے نظارے کریں گے (۲۳) تم ان کے چہروں ہی سے راحت کی تازگی معلوم کر لو گے (۲۴) ان کو خالص شراب سربمہر پلائی جائے گی (۲۵) جس کی مہر مشک کی ہو گی تو (نعمتوں کے) شائقین کو چاہیے کہ اسی سے رغبت کریں (۲۶) اور اس میں تسنیم (کے پانی) کی آمیزش ہو گی (۲۷) وہ ایک چشمہ ہے جس میں سے (خدا کے) مقرب پیئیں گے (۲۸) جو گنہگار (یعنی کفار) ہیں وہ (دنیا میں) مومنوں سے ہنسی کیا کرتے تھے (۲۹) اور جب ان کے پاس سے گزرتے تو حقارت سے اشارے کرتے (۳۰) اور جب اپنے گھر کو لوٹتے تو اتراتے ہوئے لوٹتے (۳۱) اور جب ان( مومنوں) کو دیکھتے تو کہتے کہ یہ تو گمراہ ہیں (۳۲) حالانکہ وہ ان پر نگراں بنا کر نہیں بھیجے گئے تھے (۳۳) تو آج مومن کافروں سے ہنسی کریں گے (۳۴) (اور) تختوں پر (بیٹھے ہوئے ان کا حال) دیکھ رہے ہوں گے (۳۵) تو کافروں کو ان کے عملوں کا (پورا پورا )بدلہ مل گیا (۳۶)
سُوۡرَةُ المطفّفِین
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَيۡلٌ۬ لِّلۡمُطَفِّفِينَ (١) ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكۡتَالُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسۡتَوۡفُونَ (٢) وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمۡ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمۡ يُخۡسِرُونَ (٣) أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ أَنَّہُم مَّبۡعُوثُونَ (٤) لِيَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٍ۬ (٥) يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ (٦) كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَـٰبَ ٱلۡفُجَّارِ لَفِى سِجِّينٍ۬ (٧) وَمَآ أَدۡرَٮٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٌ۬ (٨) كِتَـٰبٌ۬ مَّرۡقُومٌ۬ (٩) وَيۡلٌ۬ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ۬ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ (١٠) ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ (١١) وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦۤ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعۡتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ (١٢) إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَـٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَـٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ (١٣) كَلَّاۖ بَلۡۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِہِم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ (١٤) كَلَّآ إِنَّہُمۡ عَن رَّبِّہِمۡ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ۬ لَّمَحۡجُوبُونَ (١٥) ثُمَّ إِنَّہُمۡ لَصَالُواْ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ (١٦) ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ (١٧) كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَـٰبَ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارِ لَفِى عِلِّيِّينَ (١٨) وَمَآ أَدۡرَٮٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ (١٩) كِتَـٰبٌ۬ مَّرۡقُومٌ۬ (٢٠) يَشۡہَدُهُ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ (٢١) إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍ (٢٢) عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآٮِٕكِ يَنظُرُونَ (٢٣) تَعۡرِفُ فِى وُجُوهِهِمۡ نَضۡرَةَ ٱلنَّعِيمِ (٢٤) يُسۡقَوۡنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍ۬ مَّخۡتُومٍ (٢٥) خِتَـٰمُهُ ۥ مِسۡكٌ۬ۚ وَفِى ذَٲلِكَ فَلۡيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلۡمُتَنَـٰفِسُونَ (٢٦) وَمِزَاجُهُ ۥ مِن تَسۡنِيمٍ (٢٧) عَيۡنً۬ا يَشۡرَبُ بِہَا ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ (٢٨) إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجۡرَمُواْ كَانُواْ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يَضۡحَكُونَ (٢٩) وَإِذَا مَرُّواْ بِہِمۡ يَتَغَامَزُونَ (٣٠) وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُواْ فَكِهِينَ (٣١) وَإِذَا رَأَوۡهُمۡ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَ (٣٢) وَمَآ أُرۡسِلُواْ عَلَيۡہِمۡ حَـٰفِظِينَ (٣٣) فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡكُفَّارِ يَضۡحَكُونَ (٣٤) عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآٮِٕكِ يَنظُرُونَ (٣٥) هَلۡ ثُوِّبَ ٱلۡكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُواْ يَفۡعَلُونَ (٣٦)
