In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
For the covenants (of security and safeguard enjoyed) by the Quraish, (1) Their covenants (covering) journeys by winter and summer― (2) Let them adore the Lord of this House, (3) Who provides them with food against hunger, and with security against fear (of danger). (4)

سُوۡرَةُ القُرَیش
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
لِإِيلَـٰفِ قُرَيۡشٍ (١) إِۦلَـٰفِهِمۡ رِحۡلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيۡفِ (٢) فَلۡيَعۡبُدُواْ رَبَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡبَيۡتِ (٣) ٱلَّذِىٓ أَطۡعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍ۬ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنۡ خَوۡفِۭ (٤)

شروع الله کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے
شروع الله کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے
قریش کے مانوس کرنے کے سبب (۱) (یعنی) ان کو جاڑے اور گرمی کے سفر سے مانوس کرنے کے سبب (۲) لوگوں کو چاہیئے کہ (اس نعمت کے شکر میں) اس گھر کے مالک کی عبادت کریں (۳) جس نے ان کو بھوک میں کھانا کھلایا اور خوف سے امن بخشا (۴)
