Al-Qalam In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful Nûn [These letters (Nûn, One of Haroof-e-Muqattyat) are one of the miracles of the Qur'ân, and none but Allâh (Alone) knows their meanings]. By the pen and by those who write (writers). (1) You (O Muhammad SAW) are not, by the Grace of your Lord, a madman (2) And verily, for you (O Muhammad SAW) will be an endless reward. (3) And verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on an exalted (most high standard of) character. (4) You will see, and they will see, (5) Which of you is afflicted with madness. (6) Verily, your Lord is Best Knower of him who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Knower of those who are guided. (7) So (O Muhammad SAW) obey you not the deniers. (8) They wish that you should compromise (in religion out of courtesy) with them, so they (too) would compromise with you. Al-Mutaffifin In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful Woe to Al-Mutaffifun (those who give less in measure and weight). (1) Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, demand full measure, (2) And when they have to give by measure or weight to (other) men, give less than due. (3) Do they not think that they will be resurrected (for reckoning), (4) On a Great Day, (5) The Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the ‘Alamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists)? (6) Nay! Truly, the Record (writing of the deeds) of the Fujjâr (disbelievers, polytheists sinners, evil-doers and wicked) is (preserved) in Sijjîn. (7) And what will make you know what Sijjîn is?
