The Quran (Chapter 54) Al-Qamar سورة القَمَر

Al-Qamar In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder (the people of Makkah requested Prophet Muhammad SAW to show them a miracle, so he showed them the splitting of the moon).[] (1) And if they see a sign, they turn away, and say: “This is continuous magic.” (2)They belied (the Verses of Allâh, this Qur’ân), and followed their own lusts. And every matter will be settled. Ar-Rahman In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful The Beneficent (1) Hath made known the Qur’an. (2) He hath created man. (3) He hath taught him utterance. (4) The sun and the moon are made punctual. (5) The stars and the trees adore. Al-Inshiqaq In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful When the heaven is split asunder, (1) And listens to and obeys its Lord — and it must do so; (2) And when the earth is stretched forth, (3) And has cast out all that was in it and became empty, (4) And listens to and obeys its Lord, and it must do so; (5) O man! Verily, you are returning towards your Lord with your deeds and actions (good or bad), a sure returning, and you will meet (i.e. the results of your deeds which you did). (6) Then, as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand, (7) He surely will receive an easy reckoning, (8) And will return to his family in joy! Ash-Shams In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful By the sun and its brightness; (1) By the moon as it follows it (the sun); (2) By the day as it shows up (the sun’s) brightness; (3) By the night as it conceals it (the sun); (4) By the heaven and Him Who built it; (5) By the earth and Him Who spread it, (6) And by Nafs (Adam or a person or a soul), and Him Who perfected him in proportion; (7) Then He showed him what is wrong for him and what is right for him; (8) Indeed he succeeds who purifies his ownself (i.e. obeys and performs all that Allâh ordered, by following the true Faith of Islâmic Monotheism and by doing righteous good deeds).
