At-Tur In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful By the Tur (Mount); (1) And by the Book Inscribed. (2) In parchment unrolled. (3) And by the Al Bait-ul-Ma’mûr (the living house); (4) And by the roof raised high (i.e. the heaven). (5) And by the sea kept filled and like Boiling. Al-Fajr In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful By the dawn; (1) By the ten nights (i.e. the first ten days of the month of Dhul-Hîjjah) [], (2) And by the even and the odd (of all the creations of Allâh)[] (3) And by the night when it departs (4) There is indeed in them (the above oaths) sufficient proofs for men of understanding (and that, they should avoid all kinds of sins and disbeliefs)! Al-Lail In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful By the night as it envelops; (1) By the day as it appears in brightness; (2) By Him Who created male and female; (3) Certainly, your efforts and deeds are diverse (different in aims and purposes); (4) As for him who gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to Allâh and fears Him, (5) And believes in Al-Husna.[] (6) We will make smooth for him the path of ease (goodness).
