Ar-Rahman In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful The Beneficent (1) Hath made known the Qur’an. (2) He hath created man. (3) He hath taught him utterance. (4) The sun and the moon are made punctual. (5) The stars and the trees adore. (6) And the sky He hath uplifted; and He hath set the measure, (7) That ye exceed not the measure, (8) But observe the measure strictly, nor fall short thereof. (9) And the earth hath He appointed for (His) creatures, (10) Wherein are fruit and sheathed palm-trees, (11) Husked grain and scented herb. Al-Infitar In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful When the heaven is cleft asunder. (1) And when the stars have fallen and scattered; (2) And when the seas are burst forth; (3) And when the graves are turned upside down (and bring out their contents). (4) (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). (5) O man! What has made you careless about your Lord, the Most Generous? At-Tariq In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful By the heaven, and At-Târiq (the night-comer, i.e. the bright star); (1) And what will make you to know what At-Târiq (night-comer) is? (2) (It is) the star of piercing brightness; (3) There is no human being but has a protector over him (or her) (i.e. angels in charge of each human being guarding him, writing his good and bad deeds).
