At-Tur In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful By the Tur (Mount); (1) And by the Book Inscribed. (2) In parchment unrolled. (3) And by the Al Bait-ul-Ma’mûr (the living house); (4) And by the roof raised high (i.e. the heaven). (5) And by the sea kept filled and like Boiling. Al-Waqia In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful When the Event (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) befalls. (1) And there can be no denyial of its befalling. Al-Insan In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful Has there not been over man a period of time, when he was not a thing worth mentioning? (1) Verily, We have created man from Nutfah (drops) of mixed semen (sexual discharge of man and woman), in order to try him, so We made him hearer and seer. (2) Verily, We showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful. (3) Verily, We have prepared for the disbelievers iron chains, iron collars, and a blazing Fire. (4) Verily, the Abrâr (the pious and righteous) shall drink of a cup (of wine) mixed with (water from a spring in Paradise called) Kâfûr. Al-Mutaffifin In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful Woe to Al-Mutaffifun (those who give less in measure and weight). (1) Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, demand full measure, (2) And when they have to give by measure or weight to (other) men, give less than due. (3) Do they not think that they will be resurrected (for reckoning), (4) On a Great Day, (5) The Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the ‘Alamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists)?
